Milan, April 12, 2024 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni was a winner at the 2024 Legalcommunity Tax Awards taking home the title of “Firm of the year Financial Taxation” while Fabio Chiarenza was awarded, for the second time in a row, "EU Taxation Professional of the Year”.
The ceremony, held in Milan, was an opportunity to celebrate the excellence of the Italian tax market.
Now in its eleventh edition, the Legalcommunity Tax Awards rewarded those excellences, both individuals and teams, that during the year distinguished themselves most for reputation and activity in the field of tax.
The jury motivated the awards as follows:
“Financial Taxation Firm of the Year”
In the last period the team assisted, among many, a pool of leading banks in the tax aspects concerning the issuance of a guaranteed credit on behalf of the largest players active in the energy sector, worth nearly 2 billion euros.
“EU Taxation Professional of the Year” - Fabio Chiarenza
This professional is one of the big players in the Italian tax market with extensive cross-sector expertise in the field. He assisted several Italian companies with crossborder tax advisory within EU borders, such as the Netherlands and France.
