Milan, July 1, 2015 – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners receives the most prestigious award at the 2015 Legalcommunity Corporate M&A Awards 2015: “Law Firm of the Year” in the category “Corporate M&A”.
In awarding this prize, the jury - which included general counsel of companies and market operators- stated: “With a great team of 150 professional lawyers active in this field, the firm imposed itself on the market beating the competition by a wide margin. It was involved in most of the largest (per value and strategy) deals of the year, demonstrating its leadership in real terms.
The firm also picked up the award for “Deal of the Year” in the “Fashion” category for the Blackstone-Versace transaction which saw the equity fund Blackstone enter into partnership with the Versace luxury brand by investing 210 million Euro in the family-owned company.
These awards were delivered during an evening dedicated to celebrating the 11th edition of the Legalcommunity Awards which, for the first time, focused on the Corporate M&A market.
