Padua, June 11th 2010 – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners strengthens its office in Padua with the arrival of new Partners Paolo Brugnera, Paolo Gnignati and Marco Malipiero who join from Simmons and Simmons Italy.
With these new lateral hires, the number of Partners based in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners’ office in Padua increases from 2 to 5, further enhancing the firm’s capability of delivering a wide range of top quality services and confirming its leadership in the North-Eastern region of Italy.
Paolo Brugnera boasts a solid track record in corporate finance and in commercial contracts. In 1996, he founded with Paolo Gnignati an independent law firm which then merged with Simmons & Simmons. He has been Partner in the Corporate Department since 2002.
Marco Malipiero is an expert in corporate finance and in commercial contracts, with a strong experience in energy and infrastructure deals. He joined Simmons & Simmons in 2004, and became Partner in the Corporate Department in 2009.
Paolo Gnignati advises financial institutions and companies in litigation, insolvency and restructuring. He joined Simmons & Simmons in 2002, becoming head of the Litigation Department in 2004 and co-head of the Corporate Restructuring Department in 2007.
