GOP wishes to thank all its Clients and Friends for supporting the fundraising that allowed the Firm to make two donations, one in favour of the Lazzaro Spallanzani hospital in Rome and one in favour of the Luigi Sacco hospital in Milan, both health facilities at the forefront of the Coronavirus emergency.
To date, with more than 62 thousand Euros raised, the initial goal we set has been significantly exceeded, and the collection of funds continues.
The Sacco Hospital donation will be used to set up a new intensive care bed complete with high-spec equipment for pulmonary ventilation, while the Spallanzani Hospital will use its funds to support research on vaccines and drug treatments in the health emergency.
The fundraising took place as part of the GOP Cares sustainability project launched by the Firm last year with a series of initiatives inspired by international ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles.
Both recipients expressed much gratitude for the generosity shown particularly in these, what are for everyone, delicate and difficult times.
