Gianni & Origoni wins multiple awards at the 2026 Legalcommunity Energy Awards

January 30, 2026

Milan, 30 January 2026 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni received multiple awards at the Legalcommunity Energy Awards 2026: Ottaviano Sanseverino was named “Lawyer of the Year – Infrastructure”, while the firm won the “Deal of the Year – Infrastructure” award for the Ardian, Finint Infrastrutture SGR transaction.

The ceremony, held in Milan, was an opportunity to celebrate excellence in the legal market active in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The thirteenth edition of the event saw the presentation of awards granted by the jury to those who stood out most over the year thanks to their activities.

The jury motivated the awards as follows:

Lawyer of the Year – Infrastructure - Ottaviano Sanseverino
The well-known professional needs no introduction. During the reference period, he advised a pool of 35 lenders, including some of Europe’s leading banks, on a multi-billion-euro financing for a major digital infrastructure operator in the country. The transaction, which was technically very complex, was fundamental to the country’s economic development.

Deal of the Year – Infrastructure - Ardian, Finint Infrastrutture SGR
The agreement between Ardian and Finint Infrastrutture for the joint acquisition of Milione, the holding company controlling SAVE, represents one of the year’s leading infrastructure deals. With a value exceeding two billion euros and the involvement of strategic assets such as Venice Marco Polo Airport, the transaction stands out for its industrial relevance, complexity, and impact on the Italian infrastructure sector.
