Milan, 4 May 2026 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni is pleased to announce that Loris Bovo has rejoined its Litigation and Arbitration practice in Milan. He returns as Partner, accompanied by a team of three associates, further enhancing the firm’s dispute resolution capabilities.
Loris was previously with the firm between 2009 and 2012. Since then, he has gained significant experience advising domestic and international clients on a wide range of contentious and pre-contentious matters at leading international firms, including Linklaters and, most recently, Ashurst. His practice focuses on banking, corporate and insolvency matters, as well as commercial litigation, both in ordinary and urgent proceedings. He also brings significant expertise in domestic and international arbitration.
He is joined by associates Chiara Maria Santi, Alessia Isgrò and Sara Ballini.
With Loris’s hire, the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration group now comprises 75 professionals, including 14 partners, further strengthening its position among the leading teams in Italy. This move forms part of a broader strategic growth plan pursued in recent years, including the addition of prominent hires such as Cecilia Buresti and Stefano Rossi and their respective teams.
Antonio Auricchio and
Paolo Gnignati, Co-Heads of the Litigation and Arbitration practice, commented: “
Loris’s return supports our strategy to grow in key litigation areas, where client demand is becoming increasingly sophisticated - particularly in banking, NPLs and corporate disputes. His expertise will strengthen our Milan office, enhancing our ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional matters and expand our arbitration capabilities.”
Loris Bovo added: “I am delighted to return to Gianni & Origoni and to reconnect with many colleagues and friends. I see the firm as the ideal platform to further develop a fully integrated litigation offering, combining technical excellence, strategic insight and a deep understanding of clients’ business needs, within an international and highly collaborative environment.”
