Milan, May 22, 2026 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni was a multi-winner at the 2026 Legalcommunity Forty under 40 Awards. Alessandro Magnifico was named “Lawyer of the Year” in the field of Banking & Finance while Andrea Pezza won the award for “Lawyer of the Year” in EU Competition.
The ceremony, held in Milan, was an opportunity to celebrate the young excellences of the legal market active in various areas.
During this seventh edition the jury awarded those individual professionals under 40 and those teams that throughout the year have distinguished themselves most for their activity.
The jury motivated the awards as follows:

In his second year as Counsel, he has established himself as a key professional within the firm’s Banking & Finance practice, distinguishing himself through his autonomy and reliability. He is regularly entrusted with the independent management of complex, high-value matters, consistently demonstrating the maturity, technical strength, and leadership skills characteristic of the highest levels of the profession.
“Lawyer of the Year EU Competition” – Andrea Pezza
With a pragmatic and business-oriented approach, during the relevant period he acted as lead antitrust advisor on high-value cross-border M&A transactions, coordinating complex antitrust workstreams for major industrial and financial groups, including merger control proceedings before the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority.
