Gianni & Origoni wins two awards at the 2026 Legalcommunity Corporate

June 11, 2026

Milan, June 11, 2026 – International law firm Gianni & Origoni has been awarded “Law Firm of the Year” at the Legalcommunity Corporate Awards 2026 - an event celebrating excellence in the Italian corporate legal market - and Antonio Segni has been named "Lawyer of the Year" in the Financial Institutions category.

The twelfth edition of the awards saw the jury honour the market players who, over the past year, distinguished themselves through their reputation and professional achievements.

The jury’s reasons for the awards are set out below:

Law Firm of the Year

With a team of 150 professionals, the firm stands out for its multidisciplinary approach and established presence across all segments of the corporate market. The leadership of its name partner has contributed to some of the most significant landmark transactions in the market. The practice’s positioning is further strengthened by the contribution of professionals such as Antonio Segni in M&A, Gabriella Covino in Restructuring, Piero Fattori in Antitrust, and Stefano Bucci in Private Equity.

Lawyer of the Year, Financial Institutions - Antonio Segni

The distinguished lawyer advised on one of the most significant transactions in the recent consolidation process of the Italian banking sector. The merger project was approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies following the completion of a voluntary public exchange offer launched by one of the merging parties, which enabled it to acquire control of the other entity.
