Milan, June 14, 2019 - International law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners was a multi-winner at the 2019 Legalcommunity Corporate Awards 2019, receiving the most important award of the evening: “Law Firm of the year”. Furthermore, the Michael Kors - Versace deal (in which the firm advised Blackstone) was pronounced “Deal of the Year”.
The award ceremony was held in Milan at the "WJC Square" and saw the participation of over 850 guests, among which several Partners and Associates of our Firm, who collected the awards.
Never before in their motivations for awarding these prizes, has the jury so impeccably represented the high level of quality that our Firm is capable of offering and which is acknowledged by the market.

- Deal of the Year: Michael Kors - Versace deal: The sale of the Versace brand to the American holding company Michael Kors is the deal of the year in the Fashion sector and beyond. This acquisition has allowed the Kors group, renamed Capri Holdings, to create one of the world's leading luxury and fashion giants in the world.
