Teodora Marocco is a Partner in the Administrative Law Department, as well as Co-Head of the Firm's Environmental Law Department.
From 1999 to 2009 Teodora worked for an international law firm in Milan, where she assisted clients in the development of public utility projects, with specific reference to renewable energy power plant projects and related litigation issues, regasification plants and thermoelectric power plants, providing assistance both in the judicial and extrajudicial sectors. Teodora has broad experience in advising clients on environmental regulatory matters related to air, water, waste and noise pollution, permitting and licensing sectors and she also advises on environmental law permitting procedures such as the Environmental Impact Assessment and clean up procedures for contaminated sites.
After graduating in Law from the University of Turin in 1998, she was awarded a Ph.D in Constitutional Law from the University of Milan in 2003, where she also worked from 2000 to 2004 as an assistant to the professor of Constitutional Law. In 2000 she attended a specialization course at the University of Texas, Academy of American and International Law.
Teodora has written several articles on Italian and EU environmental and health and safety legislation and has delivered several lectures in post-degree courses on environmental and health and safety issues. In particular, she has been teaching on the Second Level Masters on environmental law “Le responsabilità delle imprese in campo ambientale” at the Università Statale of Milan.
She is a member of the Italian Bar and of “La Società Lombarda Avvocati Amministrativisti”.
She speaks Italian and English.
