Clara Steffano practices in the areas of Corporate/M&A, focusing on corporate compliance services and general corporate assistance to Clients of the various business areas of industrial, financial and services sectors.
Clara Staffano has also extensive experience representing foreign companies when approaching the Italian market, for the establishment and consequent day-by-day assistance, of both Italian subsidiaries and/or Italian branch of said foreign entities.
After graduating in Law at Milan State University in 1990, she attended a Post graduate course in preparation to the Diplomatic Service and International Civil Service at ISPI (Istituto Studi Politica Internazionale) in Milan; in 1991 she was then awarded with the R. Schumann Scholarship, practising at the Legislative unit of the European Parliament in Brussels. She also attended the Program in Public International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law and was awarded with Internship programs at Legislative units of UNESCO in Paris and of United Nations, at the Centre for Human Rights, in Geneva.
She has been admitted to practice law in Italy and is registered at the Milan Bar.
