Marco Mennella specialises in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate and commercial law and, more in general, in extraordinary transactions. He has significant experience in assisting leading Italian and international companies in Italy and the Middle-East.
He has developed a strong expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, commercial agreements, joint venture agreements, as well as any relevant annex (including representations and warranties and ancillary agreements such as lease agreements, service agreements and trademark licence agreements).
He is also an expert in drafting, reviewing and negotiating framework agreements, shareholders’ agreements, exclusivity agreements and non-disclosure agreements, as well as in assisting clients in due diligence procedures and in setting up new companies and/or branches in Italy and the Middle-East.
He is also an expert in GDPR compliance matters, whose expertise started immediately after graduation, when he became assistant professor to the chair of Legal Logic and Informatics Law at the University of Naples “Federico II”, also publishing several pieces of writing in privacy matter.
After having taken the master degree in law with the highest grades at the University of Naples “Federico II”, he continued his education attending several professional courses in corporate-tax matter at the Italian Revenue Agency. After having developed professional experiences working at the State Legal Advisory Service and at a law firm based in Naples, where he developed skills in the corporate area, as well as having been in 2012 Visiting Foreign Lawyer at the London office of an important American law firm, he continued his professional activity joining GOP Law Firm in 2013.
He is a lawyer admitted to the Italian Bar and a member of the International Bar Association.
He speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
