Stefano Bucci specialises in corporate law, public and private M&A, Private Equity, leverage buy-out, venture capital, and joint ventures.
His expertise also extends to corporate finance, equity capital markets, competition law, infrastructure, as well as corporate commercial law and Golden Power rules.
He has advised a number of domestic and multinational corporations and private equity funds in significant acquisition transactions and relating to acquisition financing, as well as in take-overs of listed corporations including public to private M&A. He frequently assists corporations, foreign and Italian private equity funds, investment banks and companies in connection with the participation to public bids and privatisations, as well as public-to-private transactions (public tender offers, mergers, spin-offs, etc.). He has been involved in transactions (on behalf of private equity funds and corporations) with insurance and banking targets, dealing with both the M&A aspects as well as the regulatory side of the transactions.
Stefano holds a Law degree from the University of Rome, where he now delivers lectures, as well as a Master Degree in Tax and Corporate Practice from LUISS University, Rome. He has authored several publications on private equity, M&A, venture capital and corporate law.
Stefano is a member of the Italian Bar, the International Fiscal Association, AIFI, EVCA, the Italian Tax Group and the Official Accounting Auditors Registry. He is a board member and internal auditors member of several companies, including listed companies.
He speaks Italian, English and French.
